IcebreatherPanoramic

Going into Saturday’s “IceBreather Classic” I must say I was a bit nervous as I have never put on a competition of that size before. All I wanted was for the event to run as smoothly as possible, and I wanted it to be a enjoyable for both the athletes and spectators.┬áZack and I put a lot of time and effort in to make it a quality event. The day was a blur for me but looking back I am more than pleased with how the day went. We raised close to $700 for the WondedWarrior Fund, we almost ran right on schedule, and there was minimal complaining. Was most rewarding part of the day was hearing all the compliments from the athletes, saying what an awesome event it was. I’d like to thank all of the volunteers who helped out with the event, we could not have done it without your help! Not everyone would sacrifice their entire Saturday like you guys did, and without your help Saturday could not have been possible. Thank you! I for one cannot wait for next year’s IceBreather!

I talked to several non-members at the Classic, and all of them gushed about how good the event was and how great the gym looked. Great job Brian and Zack, and especially all the volunteers. It was neat to see so many people turn out to help.

    200# clean and jerk, PR!
13:07 Rx-ish, those 2-1 wall balls were mighty awkward.
